What is the effect of CBD?
It's amazing how powerful one plant extract can be – and the health benefits that this extract brings. The benefits of CBD far outweigh the drawbacks (side effects) of CBD. Before we get into this, we would like to remind you what it is and where CBD comes from.
CBD (also known as Cannabidiol) is the most well-known substance that originated in the "Cannabis Sativa," or the hemp plant. In addition to CBD, more than 100 other cannabinoids have been discovered; these occur naturally in the hemp plant. Other well-known cannabinoids are THC, CBG, and CBN.
How does CBD Oil make you feel?
It's natural to wonder how you're going to feel when you take CBD. A big misconception is that you will feel “high” from CBD, like THC. CBD is non-psychoactive, which means that you cannot experience the same feelings as other types of cannabis with a high THC content. The hemp strain from which CBD is extracted has only 0.3% of THC in the whole plant. Therefore, this hemp strain “Cannabis Sativa” is also considered legal and is widely cultivated for the industry.
In continuous surveys of people who use CBD, many users report that CBD makes them feel calmer, relaxed, and sometimes even better able to cope with everyday problems.
What does CBD Oil do to you?
CBD directly affects the endocannabinoid system. First, a short explanation of the endocannabinoid system. Every human being and most animals have a body's own endocannabinoid system, abbreviated the ECS. Like your immune system, the ECS is a complex system. It is a network of special receptors (receivers) throughout your body that interacts with cannabis-like chemicals. We call these cannabinoids. Together they ensure that our body and mind are brought into balance.
CBD oil consists of phytocannabinoids. Especially CBD, but also from other cannabinoids such as CBDa, CBG, CBN, CBC, etc. These are all substances that occur naturally in the hemp plant. CBD is thought to replenish your endocannabinoid system when it is depleted, restoring an out-of-balance body. For best results, a “full-spectrum” CBD oil is recommended. This CBD oil contains all the cannabinoids (substances) that are needed. Together they create the “Entourage effect”.
Is CBD oil safe?
The American institute NCBI has conducted extensive research into the safety and side effects of cannabidiol (CBD). The researchers concluded that CBD is safe for both humans and animals at a normal dose. CBD oil is non-toxic and has minimal side effects. CBD does not affect your heart rate or body temperature. These are called physiological parameters. The WHO (World Health Organization) also approved CBD oil as safe, non-toxic (toxic), and with little to no side effects.
So you can safely use a "good quality" CBD oil daily without any risk. It does not give you an unpleasant psychoactive feeling like THC does. You cannot get “high” from CBD.
In addition to the usual dribbling under the tongue, CBD can also be added to any dish or your favorite drinks. Combine your CBD oil with other foods and flavors. CBD has many uses, and it's fun to experiment with a product that also promotes health and well-being.

How long does CBD stay in your system?
CBD remains in the system for two to five days in most people. However, depending on the amount of CBD you ingest, your body may break down substances faster, but it takes a little slower for some. But after five days, there will be no more CBD molecules in your system.
CBD is legal in most European countries and US states. Should you need to take a Cannabis drug test, you don't have to worry about passing the test, as most urine tests do not detect CBD.
